Marseille is looking for a qualified engineer to join its Systems Engineering group as a Senior Staff Engineer. The Systems engineering group is responsible for creating advanced system solutions for leading edge products targeted for the consumer electronics market. We are looking for a motivated, self managing excellent communicator looking for their next challenge.

Qualifications

• Board and systems design management
• Architecture and design of FPGA based systems
• RTL development and internally developed and 3rd party IP integration
• Design simulation, verification, static timing analysis, floor planning, optimization
• Testing, debug and support of designs through to customer acceptance

Skills

• Experience with high-speed FPGA design including verilog RTL development, simulation, synthesis, place and route, timing closure, system debug, testing and validation.
• Experience with Altera tools and Stratix IV FPGA family is highly desirable.
• Implementation Experience with High Speed I/O such as DDR3, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, DVI and LVDS at the chip or board level.
• Must have strong written and oral communication, time management and team participation skills.
• Programming and scripting skills using one or more of the following: C, C++ , Perl, Tcl, Python.
• Knowledge and experience in Video and/or communications Systems is a strong plus.

Education

BS/MS or higher degree in Computer, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree with minimum10 year experience.
