President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board

Amine Chabane is an international entrepreneur and technology leader who co-founded Marseille, Inc. in 2005 as a culmination of a life-long pursuit of technology excellence.

A native of Marseille, France, where he had his first sales experience, he pursued his childhood fascination with technology by first attending Marseille University (Faculte de Science de Luminy) where he graduated with honors at the top of his class and received a B.S. in Applied and Engineering Physics. He then moved to Paris where he was admitted into the prestigious National School of Telecommunications (E.N.S.T de Paris) and graduated with an MSEE.

Chief Financial Officer

James Lau brings extensive financial and manufacturing operations experience to his role as chief financial officer at Marseille, Inc. His manufacturing operations background involves working with both suppliers and customers to advance production efforts at early stage companies from technical feasibility demonstrations to successful high-volume production. At Marseille, he will leverage both his financial and manufacturing experience to enhance company operations.

Vice President, Marketing

George Alexy brings over 25 years of marketing and general management experience to Marseille.  Having lead marketing organizations such as Intel’s Microprocessor marketing through its transition to the 32 bits and VP of Marketing at Cirrus Logic during their explosive growth from $10M to $1.3B, he brings strong strategic marketing and management skills to the Marseille team.

Vice President, SW Engineering & Product Development

Mr. Nguyen has over 24 years of industry experience in video and wireless product development. Mr. Nguyen has held many key technical lead positions where he was responsible for product R&D. Mr. Nguyen has also successfully built and managed multi-functional engineering teams consisting of talents from diverse backgrounds and geographical locations.

Vice President, Operations

With over 25 years with leadership roles in operations, Mr Al-Shehabi has extensive experience working with foundries such as TSMC and UMC. Mr Al-Shehabi's manufacturing leadership skills were built at C-Cube Microsystems, Trident Microsystems and Silicon Image, and he brings a track record of cost-effective design, test & manufacturing of silicon through the entire lifecycle from concept to mass production.

Vice President, Sales

Tony brings more than 30 years of experience in semiconductor sales and marketing management to Marseille, which he joined in November 2012.

Before joining Marseille, Tony was Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Pixelworks, an innovative designer, developer and marketer of video and pixel processing technology, semiconductors and software for high-end digital video applications.

Vice President, Systems Engineering

Aiman Kabakibo brings over 25 years of product development and startup experience to Marseille. He has a track record of building and shipping best-in-class system and silicon products for consumer and infrastructure markets.  Prior to joining Marseille, Mr. Kabakibo co-founded SiPort, a venture-backed startup focused on building low power wireless receivers for handheld devices. He served in various roles including CEO and EVP of Engineering. SiPort was acquired by Intel in 2011.
